5 steps to optimal data management

The Royal Route

To achieve optimal management of your data, we have mapped out a royal route for you. From inventory to management. You can hire us to execute every step of this royal road, or you can hire us for any separate steps. For example, to check that your licences are being used effectively. In some cases, the latter can result in savings of thousands of euros per month!

Inventory

Where is your information coming from?

What are the IT objectives of your healthcare organisation and what is the strategy to achieve them? How can data help you realise your objectives and what role does it play? By means of a careful inventory, we provide insight into your database landscape. The inventory shows how mature your organisation is with regard to data, data management and data infrastructure.

  • What systems are running in your organization?

  • Are your licenses in order?

  • Which processes are dependent on each other?

  • What does your data governance look like?

Analyze

Is it running the way it should?

Now that the inventory has been carried out, we will carry out the analysis and check whether it matches your expectations and the strategic objectives of your care organisation. The tangible end result of the analysis is a plan of action for improvements, a division of tasks and a cost estimate for implementing the analysis.

  • Which projects are dependent on possible adjustments?

  • What is the quality of your data?

  • What sources of information are appropriate for operational decisions?

Implement

More with less

Based on the action plan DBHeroes carries out all activities related to the IT objectives of the organisation. Partly on the basis of life cycle management of the hardware, the possibilities of migration to the cloud, the current licences and SLAs, a project plan is drawn up to implement the recommendations. Goal is to optimise the processes and reduce operational expenditure (OPEX). Outcomes of this work can be:

  • Optimal license management

  • Reduced OPEX

  • Optimal IT infrastructure

  • Compliant environment

Check

Check, check, double check

A specific part of the audit is checking whether you comply with the compliance guidelines you need, for example, for NEN or ISO certification. Think of the privacy legislation (GDPR) and the way in which your data is protected against unauthorised access by cybercriminals. The present security procedures and familiarity with them play an important role here. During the audit phase, we check whether you comply with both your internal compliance guidelines and the guidelines relating to the mandatory NEN 7510 standard.

  • Is your data secure?

  • What does your emergency plan look like?

  • Do you comply with the guidelines for GDPR and NEN?
