Job Vacancy Account Manager

With a good portion of experience in IT, you act as a true partner for your client ... and that ensures great results! Ideally, you are continuously building (new) customer relationships and advising on market developments. You know how to give the right interpretation before a question is asked and you bring to the surface the pain points (unknown to the customer). In this way you ensure that cooperation will flourish. This is what you will do

You will read articles about innovative techniques in the field of data and discuss this with the team during strategy sessions. With this information in combination with our already existing product range, you conduct interviews with the management of a customer in the healthcare, energy or offshore sector. You convince them with a perfectly prepared story. You take them one step further in the pipeline. A 'no' becomes an option... and an option becomes a great partnership. You really get a kick out of that! How do you do it? You are an expert in the field of sales, so you know exactly what sales techniques there are and how they work.  

Because you are constantly building and maintaining clients and relationships, you will be in their offices a few times a week. In doing so, you get to know them and gain insight into business processes and needs. The other days you work at our office, where you talk to your colleagues about the latest developments within the IT infrastructure. Or you have a meeting with management about prospects. Here's what else you'll do: 

  • You will create a strategic account plan in which you identify market potential and qualify accounts  

  • You will contact prospects and give a presentation telling them what DBHeroes can do for them based on their requirements 

  • You will build and maintain relationships with existing customers and explain our service to them. Through contact, you quickly see their needs 

  • You increase sales by turning opportunities into commercial products and selling them 

  • You keep your knowledge of data, data security and sales up to date 

  • You develop your own sales activities and achieve your targets 

You got this

Are you our new account manager? Then this applies to you: 

  • You have completed at least a college education and 3 to 5 years of work experience 

  • You know all about account management, sales methods, processes and systems 

  • You have mastered up-selling and cross-selling within ICT 

  • You are familiar with IT infrastructure and cloud solutions. For example of Network, Storage, Virtualization, Azure and or AWS. 

  • You have experience selling data solutions (this is a plus) 

  • You are entrepreneurial, proactive, sociable, easy to talk to everyone and have perseverance 

  • You enjoy advising  

  • You speak to customers effortlessly in English and Dutch 

  • You don't mind traveling
